1. Women and Technological Innovation National Award (WATI) -

A triennial award conferred upon a woman scientist / technocrat / social activist who has used innovative technology for social development.

It was constituted in 1998. The honours have been received by -

 
Dr. B. Meenakumari, Cochin, in 2007 for devising fishing accessories
for deep sea fishing and protection of underwater eco system.
 
Dr. Sulabha Kulkarni, Pune in 2007 for developing highest strength
aerogel material (Nano Technology)
 
Dr. Hemangi Jambhekar, Pune in 2004 for using ayurved in agriculture.
 
Dr. Kshipra Mishra, Mumbai in 2004 for simple water purifier.
 
Dr. Preeti Joshi, Bhopal in 2001 for innovative biotechnological methods in farming.
 
Dr. Jyotsna, Delhi in 1998 for promotion of organic farming.

2. WATI Annual Award - State level, conferred upon first rank lady student contestants from polytechnics participating in Dipex (ABVP).
